Uttered In The '80s - Part One...

The first in a series of character quotes from Emmerdale Farm in the 1980s, beginning with Amos Brearly in 1989. Do you remember the highly distinctive atmosphere of the Woolpack back in the '80s? The fact that things at the pub did not always run smoothly? In 1989, the answer, blindingly obvious as it was, came to Amos - the problem, of course, was Mr Wilks (!!):

"I cannot understand why I've never noticed before, 'e's got more irritating habits than anyone I've ever known - including you, Seth Armstrong!"
